Jamia begins sports category admissions

The Jamia Millia Islamia University today began trial of aspiring candidates who have opted for admissions in various courses under the sports category. The trial for boxing was conducted while that of cricket was postponed to July 12 due to heavy rains. "Trials for athletics will be held on July 6, for volleyball, shooting and football on July 7, basketball, table tennis and hockey on July 8, badminton, tennis and swimming on July 9 and weightlifting and other games on July 10," university spokesperson Simi Malhotra said.
